CONVENT OF SANTA CATALINA, VISIT OF THE CITY AND VIEWPOINTS
From the viewpoints of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara we will enjoy a magnificent view of the city. (view and church).
Then to go to the historic center to visit the Santa Catalina Convent, which is an example of four centuries of Arequipa architecture, the intrusive cells, the small streets and cloisters full of colorful flowers and the walls painted in fresh colors. Narrow streets lead to the different parts of the monastery, past picturesque squares and living and sleeping areas with the original furniture. Visitors are revived and lost in the path of time.
We will visit the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful in Peru, the Jesuit Church of the Compagnie, which announces the so-called Mestizo architecture in its beautiful facade, its cloister and its dome, the Mansion Tristán del Pozo.
