FLOATING ISLAND OF THE UROS – TAQUILE
In the morning, you will make a full-day excursion to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and you will first visit the floating islands of the Uros, also called “El Pueblo del Lago”.
These islands have been built from reeds, a local aquatic plant that is used to make their homes.
You will continue your tour to Taquile Island, where you can appreciate the customs and traditions of the islanders, in their colorful old-fashioned clothing, and local art.
Lunch at the restaurant.
Descent on the opposite side of the island (530 steps) and return in the same boat to Puno, arrival and transfer to the hotel.
