Languages: Castilian and Quechua are the two main languages ​​of the country, there are also many other official languages, typical of each region, such as Aymara and all the Amazonian languages.

Ethnicities: 54% of the Peruvian population belongs to native Andean and Amazonian ethnic groups, 32% to mestizos, 12% to Creoles (of Spanish descent) and 2% is shared between Afro-Peruvians (of African descent) and an Asian minority (Chinese and Japanese).

Weather: In general, the climate in the country is temperate, so you can travel to Peru comfortably at any time of the year, the vast extent of Peru makes it possible to differentiate up to 28 types of climates in the country. In this way, three climatic areas can be distinguished depending on the three major geographical areas of the Peruvian territory: the subtropical coast-warm summers and temperate and humid winters-the jungle -with hot and humid climate- and the sierra -with more climate cold and dry.

Gastronomy: Cultural heritage of Peru, Peruvian food is considered one of the best and most varied in the world, including the World Travel Awards recognized Peru as “the best culinary destination in the world.” Its gastronomy brings together elements from the five continents that contributed its ingredients throughout history, based on its traditional Andean and Amazonian products in a perfect union with Creole, African and Asian influences. A very typical dish -that we should try in our trips to Peru- is the ceviche: fish and seafood, marinated with lemon and rocoto sauce. In fact, ají or rocoto, a hot pepper, seasoned a large part of the dishes with their intense flavor. Fish and seafood are also very relevant in Peruvian menus, especially in coastal areas. Most meals are accompanied by rice and potatoes. The vegetables and tropical fruits are very diverse and rich.
