AREQUIPA – CHIVAY – CRUZ DEL CONDOR – AREQUIPA
3.00 am We will start the excursion in our mobility with pick up from your hotel; to start the trip along the yura road to the town of Chivay where we will enjoy breakfast.
We will continue our journey to the cross of the condor, where we will appreciate one of the deepest canyons in the world and the flight of the condor. On the way back we will appreciate the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Chocotico, beautiful landscape of the Colca with its impressive pre-Inca and Inca terraces.
We will pass through different towns (pinchollo, maca and yanque) that have beautiful colonial churches.
We will go to the thermal baths where you will have time to relax.
Lunch in Chivay and return to Arequipa.
Upon returning we will stop at the Patapampa viewpoint (highest point 4,910 m.a.s.l.) where we can appreciate the volcanoes (Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca) continuing with the tour we will pass through the tocra wetlands where diversity of wild birds can be seen; Pampa Cañahuas we will observe herds of Alpacas, llamas and vicuñas (part of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve) the beautiful South American camelid possessor of one of the finest fibers in the world.
