Pick up from your hotel at 06:00 am.
We will start our 2-hour trip to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve at (4300 m.a.s.l.), on the way we will pass through the town of Chiguata, where we will have a spectacular view of pre-Inca platforms, which are still being worked for the cultivation of plants. such as Quinoa, Alfalfa, Corn, Potato, Carrot and broad beans.
Upon entering the National Reserve of Salinas Aguada Blanca, we will observe the only Queñuas forest, continuing with the tour until we reach the Lagoon we will have a spectacular view of the volcanoes and their landscape that surround the Lagoon, as well as see the back face of the volcano Misti, Chachani, Pichu Pichu, also here you can also see the most active volcano in Peru, the Ubinas Volcano.
In this lagoon you will be able to see South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas, as well as a great variety of Andean birds such as: Guayatas or Andean Ganzo, Cordilleran Duck and thousands of Flamingos of 3 types of species, 1 permanent and 2 migratory, then we will have a walk in the salt and observe the production of salt, as well as the extraction of borate by local people, we will also visit a shallow hot spring source, we will give you time to enjoy a break and snack and return to Arequipa.
